Clean Banditはイギリスのバンドで、2014年にリリースされました。もとの曲も日本で撮影された使用になっていて、PentatonixのPVも日本で撮影されています。
Rather Beは2014年にリリースされてからイギリスでシングルチャート入りをしており、3番目にはやい売上をほこったり、アメリカでもBillboardHot100のTop10入りや、2014年のBestSongで4番目に選ばれるなどしています。そして、2015のグラミー賞でベストダンスレコーディングで優勝している曲です。

どうでしょう？笑 ぜひ、Clean Banditのビデオの方も見てほしいんですけど、どちらかというとPentatonixのビデオのほうがしっくり来ました。なんというか、日本の感じが素に出てるというか、作られていない日本で撮られたビデオだなぁという感じです。
そして、やっぱりこのミッチとスコットとカースティのハーモニーがいいですね〜。惚れ惚れする笑 聞き入ってしまうのと、手も叩いてしまいそうなほど乗れる感じがすてき笑 そして、メインボーカルのカースティがこの曲のメロディーラインや雰囲気にぴったりですね（^^）
実はこの曲、はじめはスコットも知らなかったそう。カースティがヨーロッパツアーを行っているときに「この曲は私達にぴったりだから！」といって持ってきたのが始まりだそう。メンバーのみんなもこの曲は楽しんで歌えたと言っていました。

そう、なんと楽譜に歌詞がついているPentatonixのRather Be~!笑
お！と思ってしまいました笑
実際に聞いてみると、案外いいのかもしれないな〜という印象です。個人的にはこのアレンジは実際の曲の出来（歌って、合わせてみないとわからないけど）と比べて80%ぐらいかな〜って。途中のブリッジのところのアレンジや、ハーモニーが若干ずれている感じがあって。それもうまくすれば良いハーモニーにつながるかもしれないんですけどね笑
ぜひ学園祭とか、サークルの発表会とかでつかってみては？笑 おれも歌ってみたい笑
今回のこのRather BeはPentatonixのPTX, Vol.IIIに収録されています。このVol.IIIのアルバムにはPentatonixのオリジナルソングが3つも入っているんですね。あのイギリスのロックバンド、ColdplayがPentatonixに書いてくれた曲も入ってると聞いてびっくり。Coldplayが？といま俺もしりました笑
